A maior representação de marcas, plataformas, entretenimento e empresas de tecnologia globais trazem ampla experiência para os prêmios do Lions. Pela primeira vez, o número de juradas chega a 51%

O Cannes Lions Festival Internacional de Criatividade comunicou na manhã desta segunda-feira, 12 de abril, a lista completa de jurados, especialistas globais, selecionados para premiar o melhor trabalho criativo e referência de excelência do mundo da edição 2021 do evento – que acontecerá de 21 a 25 de junho. 

Os trabalhos vencedores de Leões serão anunciados e premiados durante o Cannes Lions Live, uma experiência totalmente digital, que está incluída gratuitamente como parte do novo LIONS Membership, a ser lançado em maio. 

Jurados
Os membros do júri vêm de todo o mundo e representam os maiores talentos da indústria global no mais amplo espectro de disciplinas. O júri também compreende 51% de juradas mulheres, contra 48% em 2019. Pelo Brasil, serão 19 os representantes no Festival, sendo a primeira vez como jurado para a maioria deles.

“Depois de pausar a premiação no ano passado, nosso júri premiará Leões ao longo de dois anos de trabalho, o que é uma oportunidade sem precedentes de estabelecer a referência criativa global por dois anos de criatividade excepcional,” comenta Philip Thomas, presidente do LIONS.

“Os prêmios serão o coração do Cannes Lions Live com anúncios, análises, percepções e entrevistas ocorrendo ao longo da semana. Mal podemos esperar para comemorar e mergulhar na criatividade vencedora do Lion ao lado de nossa comunidade em junho,” acrescenta Thomas.

Os júris do Lions participarão de julgamentos remotos em seus locais de origem em todo o mundo. Falando sobre o processo, Susie Walker, chefe de prêmios do LIONS, explica: “julgar é uma experiência muito humana. Também deve ser um processo rigoroso e robusto. Nossa plataforma única de julgamento, testada com sucesso em outros prêmios do Lions este ano, foi construída para garantir que o valor e a integridade do Lion sejam preservados. Estamos empenhados em oferecer uma experiência de julgamento que permita aos jurados fazer seu trabalho sem obstáculos e, o que é crucial, queremos que cada trabalho criativo tenha o tempo e a discussão que merece.”
